With travelling being one of my passions, I was absolutely thrilled to be hired to photograph the opening of the Sixt Rent a Car at the Denver International Airport. Their brand new car rental station located near the airport featured distinctive brand character of this European multinational company: illuminated black logotype at the entrance and bright orange walls. While their brand orange color is absolutely beautiful, glossy walls and desks acted as a reflector, bouncing the orange tone back on my subjects faces. This made it a very challenging and interesting job, as I used my skills and the gear to avoid the unnatural orange skin tone and create contrast and vibrant imagery. I focused on capturing brand identity, customer-agent interactions, employee groups, the space and abstract details.
